Samuel,
We had this problem on 2 machines at one client site - and if they weren't rebooted it gradually 'spread' across the network. It turned out to be hardware. A bad printer driver (HP LaserJet 5 driver - we replaced it with HPLJ 4) on one machine. The other was a network hub that had partially failed. Replacing it solved the problem completely. The actual code being run when the error occurred was always the same, but (as in your case) the code ran perfectly on other forms.

Also, check for bad network cables, particularly if one or more machine is an extra long distance from the server. In our case, the two computers were out in the warehouse by the big shipping doors. Now they're more protected from the elements, so we don't expect any further problems.

When I launch the 2nd form, NOW I get a lovely error about "Unable to load file - Record 10 : Invalid Seek Offset", After searching the help file, I came across the entry for invalid seek offset. Ha Ha what a joke. (Call Microsoft Support)
