In addition to the other suggstions you have received, you can download my "progbar.zip" from the UT files section. It is a ready-to-use implementation of an API-based progress bar contributed by Alexander Grigorjev (his file is available here as "commctrl.zip"). You will find other progress bars in the UT files section as well, it's nice to have choices.
