John,

>>... They have identified strategic ideas
such as "User Stories", "Spikes" and "NotEnoughTime" vs. "TooMuchToDo." These simply cannot be presented with a straight face in a
presentation in front of decision-making suits, but they are the *truth*, and can be put to ruthlessly practical use in the actual production of
software.

> Oh I know, but maybe the stages could be masked by biz-speak; i.e UserStories = CRC/Use Cases.

Perhaps a term such as SuitSock (compare WinSock), through which all communication between suits and developers passes. "User Stories" become "Discreet Component Descriptive Elements", "Spikes" become "Streamlined Prototype Concept Demonstrations" and so on. Hmmmm, on second thought, maybe those biz-speak terms should be longer and contain more syllables per word, the "User Stories" could be "Discreet Conceptualized Component Element Detail Factors."
