A while back a lot of VFP developers were discussing the
concept of a VFP developers association. The overall concept
was that VFP was a small market product of M$
(note the use of $ for S).
Well a similar type of statement will be made by an estimated
5,000 baseball fans here in Kansas City regarding the state
of baseball today. I believe the April 30th game between
the NY Yankees and KC Royals will be televised
on nationwide TV (at least it will be in KC and NYC).
The plan is for the persons protesting the state of the game
to where a "$hare the Wealth" tee-shirt and sit in the left
field bleachers. When the Yankees come to bat all the persons
in the bleachers will turn their back and see the back of
the tee-shirt which says "$hare the wealth". These fans
then plan to all walk out of the stadium at the top of the
4th inning. Prior to leaving the game, I believe they are
going to tape a skeleton mask on the seats in their absence
(symbolizing the death of the game).
The purpose is to make a statement regarding the inequites
of the game not necessarily just against the Yankees. Should be an interesting game to watch and it is starting to get some nationwide attention. For more information, see the following link:
