David, VSS does a GREAT job with text files {prgs}, but I have not heard any good comments about class, form, or project files. I think that Markus has something as an add on for classes.
I used Source Safe back in 96 & 97 in a 2.6 project. It was great for a team, as well as reverting back 2 or 3 versions on 1 program or on a whole application. It sucked at saving spx's and I won't try to do vcx's for fear of losing time. I alwasy have that tape and Zip file!
