>1) I logged on earlier and noted 61 New Messages. I went to respond to the third, got to hit the Save button, and the system seemed to stutter. A coupla minutes later a red MSIE error box appeared stating something couldn't be done, so I clicked OK on it, went to the File menu and clicked Exit. This brought be back to the UT Entry screen, so I clicked on UT and when I got back there was 1 New Message noted!!!

This is normal, a login is given you new messages since your last login. That's why we added the checkbox to retrieve prior login messages in case a browser crashes.

>3) I then tried to send another message, this time to Sysop asking How to recover "lost messages". I was a firly long message, asking a few questions about Premier Membership.
>When I clicked Save I got a validation error about "double-quotes or xxx not being permitted in field" AND NO WAY TO RECOVER MY TYPING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM!!!

This is normal. We don't accept double quotes in a message title. Just hit the back button of your browser and you'll get your form back. Then you can remove the quote and save again.

>1) First and foremost, this facility is obviously used by some to LEARN VFP WITHOUT ever referencing documentation. I, personally, have little time for such usage, and I do not at all appreciate the clutter which is generated by all of the useless traffic it causes. There is little or NO Policing of this kind of traffic, so I don't know that I will find this to be very useful IN THE LONGER RUN.

This comment is not clear. Please, reply to me by private email with more explanations. As for the traffic, if it is so high, I guess that's because the system is good. As stated earlier today in a private message I received, one more listserv went offline (the 2nd in the same month) because everyone is moving here. So, I guess the system is good.

>2) The benefits of Premiere Membership are NOT clearly spelled-out anywhere that I have found. I tend to find out only by trying to do something and being THEN informed that it is availaible only to Premiere Members.

Please, take a look at the main menu. All the documents are there. One of them is the Premier Universal Thread Membership which explain what you are looking for. Other documents will also mentioned something about some browser not able to move between frames, which seems to be the case when you were unable to get back to the form about your validation message.

Do not reply to this email online. As mentioned, send me a private email and I will answer your question one by one.
