This situation has never happened to me or most of my clients. I have approximately two sites that complain of this happening several times a day.

Client clicks on page6. page6.activate adds a container with addobject. Container has many fields with data. Everything is OK. Then the client clicks on EDIT on the toolbar. Part of the edit code is to disable the other pages. The code disables all pages but pageframe1.activepage. Next the client still sees page6 container (with the appropriate fields and data), but notices that the page7 tab is the only one tab enabled. Now the client can not edit page6, because page6 is disabled. If the client then clicks on CANCEL, the focus is on the page6 tab. I never set activepage in the code.

1) anyone have any ideas how my activepage is changing?

2) is activepage reliable. are there any known problems or quirks?

3) if the activepage is 6, but you setfocus to a control on page7, is page7 now the activepage (i do not do this, just curious).
