Larry,
I worked with EIS CPS-1200 (184 seats) that is dbf based, but it runs on UNIX. I created export-import-filtering part in FoxPro 2.6 for Unix. Worked fine, but it was not real-time interaction.
My recent project was VFP front end to Davox's UNISON dialer (60 seats).
UNISON also runs on UNIX, but it has Client Api, which allows you to communicate with the dialer in real time.
I guess M$ Access based dialer is "power" dialer, not "predictive" one.
These "heavy duty" dialers are very expensive, so if you don't need them all the time look for something like "power" dialer, windows based.
HTH
Oleg
