Check out Ken Levy site (http://www.classx.com/), he's got a utility to convert a VFP cursor to ADO and back.

>I've read a dozen or so MS KB articles on it, but don't seem to have found the one that I want. Either the examples are in VB, where conversion is a non-issue, or they just tell me I should use it cuz it's great (without getting technical).

I'm looking for that article or book because all of my questions are really first-time super basic, such as "Does the middle-tier create ADO?" "Or does the middle tier create cursors and pass them to the front as ADO? And of course, how does it do this?" Really basic beginner questions.
