Thanks a lot Cetin, the only reason why I am asking this, is because of an Old app written in FPD2.6 and I was curious about the need of having this files.
I am trying to rewrite the whole app into VFP now, and since my knowledge of certain techniques use in the "Old days" is very narrow, I throw that in there.
Thanks again for your help

If you're talking about accessing them from outside of FoxPro then yes you could edit them with lowlevel I/O (once upon a time it was a gateway for me to pass variables between Fox and nonFox exes). I don't think you're after it but if you're then let me know so I can send you some clues regarding its format.
