It prevents the image from getting clipped, but the image is now too small. It always reverts back to the orginal size of the subclass, but only for 6 of the 16 objects. However, I deleted the container class with the 16 objects from my form and put it then put it back again. It works now without using the assign method. Still terribly odd behavior. Thanks again.
