Set talk, among other settings applies to the current data session, so whatever you have in your main program won't apply to your newly created private data session, and it will use the, VFP default I think, ON setting for TALK . It's a pain to set it off on every form. Which is yet another reason to create your forms from custom classes, so you do it only once.
