Shell.Application exposes a number of shell-related APIs through an OLE interface. If you have the MSDN reference materials (it comes with the full Visual Studio 6 package, or is available by subscription from Microsoft for an annual fee) you can check the
Shell Object topic; there are references for the properties, methods and constants, and additional topics are referenced as well. if you don't have a copy of the MSDN references (I strongly recommend buying a subscription), you can access the information through Microsoft's MSDN OnLine service (msdn.microsoft.com/developer).
The MSDN reference materials cover virtually all of Microsoft's operating system and development products in detail; it's worth spending the money for a subscription, especially with the new and enhanced products like Office 2000 and Win2K coming out in the near future.
