I was told that VB has great advantage vs VFP due to ability to base updatable remote recordsets on back-end stored procedure result and VFP has to use SQL-Select statement which supposedly slower. I am not very sure about this stuff and want to know someone else opinion. Surely, I know that I can retrieve non-updatable cursor using SQLExec(nConn,"Execute Myproc"), but what about remote view? TIA.
