Thanks John,

Big bagoonza was tried first, it was way too much for VFP, I needed to break it down. The solution was get optimized when I thought I was, and INDEX my intermediate CURSORs on the fly so that the following SELECTs would be optimized.

But if all three procedure automatically follow each other, maybe what you need instead is either a big bagoonza SELECT that incorporates all three SELECTs -or- try substituting paramterized views for all three and requery them in order.
