Title:
Visual FoxPro for MacIntosh
I'm new to this address - so I'm not sure how this works but if there's anyone out there who can help me, I would be eternally grateful. I have developed an executable program in Visual FoxPro 3.0 for windows that has been running for over a year without incident. However, I was recently asked to create a MacIntosh version of this program and that's where my troubles began, as I know nothing about using a Mac.
The computer is a Performa 5260 and the same application takes about three times to run as it does on a PC. We installed an OS 8.0 server and tried to put the program on the server and access it from the remotes and the program slowed down to a crawl.
Are there any hints or suggestions that anyone may have to speed up this process?
Thanks
