Yep. :(

My CONFIG.FPW:
PATH = "rptdir, include, import, help, exptoprg, d:\nec\, d:\nec\dataprg\, d:\nec\dataprg\lookup\, d:\nec\, d:\nec\temp\, d:\cdbk50\common50\libs\"
COMMAND = DO VFPSTART.PRG
step = on
My VFPSTART:
DEFINE BAR 8 OF _MTOOLS PROMPT "\-"
DEFINE BAR 9 OF _MTOOLS PROMPT "Searc\<h a string..."
ON SELECTION BAR 9 OF _MTOOLS do ("h:\program files\vfp_tools\searchstr\searchstring.app")
DEFINE BAR 10 OF _MTOOLS PROMPT "\-"
DEFINE BAR 11 OF _MTOOLS PROMPT [Assign "What's This Help IDs"]
ON SELECTION BAR 11 OF _MTOOLS do ("builder.prg")
If I comment out "step = on" in my config.fpw, then I see the results the rest of you are seeing. I have the same results in 6.0 as I am seeing in 5.0.

I'm not using any start up parameters.

Win '98. Same results before and after a bowl of cereal < gd&r >
