>On a serious note, I'm beginning to think (after due consideration and, as Ed suggested, a couple of beers) that this may be something connected with the OS. I believe that you mentioned that you were running Win98. This machine is Win95. I wonder what Ed (especially) and David are running. Ed's results with his samples didn't resemble mine.

I've tried 3 different systems, each with the same results:

Win98 build 1998, very current OS components (patches through Windows Update as of yesterday), IE5 build 2014.0216IC, both VFP 5.0a build 415 and VFP 6.0 build 8167, VS6 SP2 and updated wizards applied. The same applies to all other VFP 6 configurations.

WinNT 4.0 Workstation, build 1381 SP4 (128 bit), IE5 build 2014.0216IC, VFP 6.0 build 8167 as above

WinNT 4.0 Server Enterprise, build 1381 SP4, IE 4.01 build 3110.8, VFP 6.0 build 8167 as above.

Anything specific you need to check AFA configuration?

>All this aside, I think that the bottom line here is that AMEMBERS() is unreliable in this situation. Still, I'm very curious as to why.
