Unless you do something that recompiles the stored procedures or alters table header structures, the table and database container should remain ful;ly compatible with VFP 5. My only experience where a DBC broke after accessing it from VFP 6 was when I altered the stored procedures in the DBC; thet recompiled under VFP6, and VFP 5 was confused.

Issuing COMPILE DATABASE fixes this as long as no VFP6-specific instructions are added to the stored procedures.
