That's what I meant, the timer doesn't have to be system wide, it can just be part of your thermometer, so it only exists and fires when you have the themometer running.

I actually like the UT and the Newsgroups better that CIS. I can in realtime see if a question has already been answered so I don't have to waste my time posting the same reply someone else already did. That makes me much more efficient than I ever was on CIS with the download/offline reply/post process.
