You do not say what error you get - perhaps that might help - the VB help info gives sample coding to unravel the error.

Have you properly opened a recordset?

Set dsR = dbAdmn.OpenRecordset("resv", dbOpenDynaset)

for example?

Also, are you sure that you have access to the database?
