>>Erik, I am experiencing the same prob as you had worked on in recent weeks. I recalled seeing the topic so I searched for it and found your name. Unfortunately I am not a UT Paid member and as such the search will not give me a link to read the thread. Do you recall what the solution was???

Good to hear from you Erik. Thanx for getting back to me so quickly. I remember your previous posting indicating that drivers are usually the prob but as I indicated I could not check through the remainder of the thread to find out if there were more suggestions.

Anyway, I just figured out what was causing my prob. The only change I had made in the last few days on this particular machine was to install IE5 w/Desktop Update and the IEAK. I uninstalled in and BINGO, no more 'bottom right' dialog boxes.

Note: This particular machine runs Win95 and I have just finished developing a custom IE5 install using the IEAK which is still installed on this machine. I uninstalled IE5 AND ALL IT COMPONENTS via ADD/REMOVE but it left the effects of the 'desktop update' are still in place and they were NOT before IE5.

If you know who was asking this question originally you may want to pass this IE5 on to her (as I recall it was a lady who was experiencing the prob).

PS: I am not a paid member because I expect I will be finished programing within a month or so and I don't expect to do any serious programming now for a year or more. I will buy in the next time I startup and support this great tool.

Thanx Again!
