Hi,

Got no response to this yesterday (which seem to happen a lot when I post late in the day Eastern time) , so i thought I'd try again.

I am auto-creating word documents and storing them in a General Field with the APPEND GENERAL ... LINK command.

Given that I'm using "LINK" .... 2 questions:

1) Is there any way to get the path to the file from the General field?

2) Is there a way to skip the "in between" screen that comes up when you issue MODIFY GENERAL and go directly to the application window?
