Re: Error message on launching FPro2.6a after install on W95
Got a new P400/W95. Installation of FoxPro2.6a was error-free.
Launch 2.6a and always get white dialog:
'An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway
click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this
program click Close.'
If I click Ignore I can use 2.6a without
problems. If I click Close, i get standard Windows error dialog:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut
down. Clicking Details button, I get:
'FOXPROW caused a divide error in module FOXPROW.EXE at
0001:0000flc9' - followed by registers, bytes, stack dump.
This seems to have a benign effect but doesnt inspire confidence.
Any ideas, most welcome.
