Yes, VFP is definitely starting to get more respect these days, though it's been a long process. I think people are starting not to associate xBASE with VFP
and that can only help.

There was an article that joked about the "easy 5 year learning curve of VFP" not too long ago. I wonder, are the rates starting to reflect that being good with VFP *is* an accomplishment?

>>Actually, I think the Boston area has improved a little from a year ago. I've been scanning the Boston Globe, Boston's NetTemps.com & the Boston classifieds of Yahoo.com for the past year and a half. Globe ads for VFP have always been fairly low but the other 2 sites have improved a little. I've also been getting
>>better hourly quotes from the contract houses. I'm a bit more optimistic now than I was 18 months ago.
