I develop data entry applications with VFP for a Novell
3.X LAN. I have an application that due to the presence of
memo fields I wanted to use textmerge or ? commands to send
report output to network printers.

What I have found is that textmerge, ?, and @..say commands
send output to the print que, but the job won't release
until the application is exited. This happens no matter what
the printer timeout is set or even if it is is disabled.

Does anyone know how to get the que to release the job to
the printer without having to exit the application. It seems
incredible that the textmerge, ? and @..say commands not be
usable just becase the print capture timeout is interfering.
