Seemed easy enough to check...I created a table with a 74 character long field name, added some records, and created a form with a textbox bound to "table1.areallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallylongfieldname" (for real *s*). It seemed to work just fine (5.0a build 415)
