I have two situations. In the first, I have a compiled app MASSONE.EXE which is derived from a Visual FoxExpress project. I'm assuming that this slow call is not a problem there since all of the code is present in the EXE file.

Secondly, we have been running this application in parallel with a legacy app. (I hope this parallel running will end by the end of May.)

Some of the data entry is done in the legacy app and some in the FoxPro app. This means that periodically I have to convert all of the legacy data and merge it with the new data. I use a number of stand-alone PRG programs to do this file conversion and it typically takes about 15 hours to run. (Assuming I don't have any problems.)

So even though these conversion programs will be thrown away soon, I'm still concerned with execution speed. And, of course, I want to understand what is going on for future reference.

I noticed earlier this evening that another function from the function library did not display this 90 ms delay. I'm thinking the delay must be an exception or I would have noticed it before now.
