>Can anyone give me a clue on this one. On a machine configured to dual boot for either Win95 or NT Server 4.0 when in NT the floppy drives are not accessable, but under 95 they are. When doing a DSKCHK in a command window under NT a message is returned "The type of the file system is RAW" and fails. Is there somewhere to configure the drives for FAT?

This may or may not be relevant. However:
We are not yet using NT 4.0 but have been on NT 3.51 for some time and recently had a problem with losing all floppy access under NT though fully accessible and functional under DOS, W3.11 & WIN 95.
We have been using System Commander very succesfully to handle the multi boot options. Turns out that our T1000 Colorado tape drive (floppy cable connected) worked well on all OS's except from NT, and all floppies worked well under all OS's including NT,
until we loaded the actual Tape Drive software itself into NT itself.
Then the floppies access disappeared.
Could this have also happened to you? Maybe not but thought we'd share the experience in case. We unloaded the Tape Drive from NT and the floppies are back in action. We are waiting for HP tech support response to this question otherwise would have also included that here. HTH. /psb.
