I know in VFP this was very simple, I used macro substitution.

But in VB I think the question turns on whether the procedure you are calling is contained within an object. If it is then maybe you can use the following function:

CallByName(object, procedurename, calltype,[arguments()])

Otherwise, I'm not sure how to get it done in VB....
