-------------------

Thank all four of you for attempting to help me find the answer to the in-ability to delete a text box from a grid. It took several test paths to narrow down the cause.

[1] <- BaseForm (Subclassed from Foxpros Form).

[2] <- A subclass of BaseForm with a grid added (Grid was subclassed
from fox) Column Count set to -1

[3a] [3b] [3c] <- Subclasses of the previous form (Including Grid)
that had similarities of the
previous class but 3 major differences. Column
count set to 8 on each. I was trying to delete at
this level

I had set the grid property of visible on [2] to .F. Once this is done you cannot remove any objects from grid columns on this level or any below. You can add, you just cannot delete. There may be other posibilities that cause the same problem. I stopped testing once my problem was resolved. I have several other properties set to other than default on grid at [2] but these do not cause a problem.

Again thanks for your help. You all let me know it was something on my end.
