Hi BOb,

You know, I think I liked the old prg method better. It was quick and easy once you knew your way around.

The 'not so easy to edit' visual classes are almost like using the original menu builder!

Instead of subclassing Dataenvironment to make cdataenvironment, how about if you coded it as a wrapper instead... redefine cdataenvironment as custom or line or label... create all the properties and methods that DataEnvironment has... then, in the init of cDataEnvironment, instantiate DataEnv... all code will call that class instead of dodefault or dataenvironment:: ?
