I've been doing an extensive amount of debugging ince posting my question. And I've discovered some perculiar behavior.

First off, if I have a set step on in a control's KeyPress event, it doesn't fire. The help file is brought up and the debugger never gets started.

Secondly, when I use sys(1270) to get an object reference to the same control and suspend my program and from the command window type: o.showwhatsthis(), the correct help topic is brought up! What the !@#$ is going on here?!

>Could you try using the file I sent (and map your test control to it). That would tell you if it's on the VFP side or the .CHM file side?
