Thanks for the suggestions , I still have the project files so I will take another look at it in greater detail especially the implementation. I still use the DAO and found it very fast. I will also look at the article you posted and see if I can improve my implementation on other projects which I still have to work on. I read quite a bit from the Visual Basic Journals on the topic and followed their implementation, anyway thanks again, its worth my review as I really don't want to discourage anyone from using a product due to a bad implementation on my part.
