No, actually, not much :) It wouldn't be too difficult if you always had grid row #1, for example, editable, you could set a tranparent shape over the rest of the grid. But if the row could vary, the code will get much more difficult...

Personally, I recommend exactly what John suggested earlier - a readonly grid, but where you click on a row (or some selection method) and a new detail form opens with editable fields. That's a good standard interface...
