>Combination VFP/Oracle is more difficalt, than combination
of VFP/MS SQL7

I have been on a project for the last three months using Oracle
(it is my first pure Oracle project) and I don't think it is any
more difficult then SQL Server. Oracle accepts dates in just about
any format you can throw at it and it's joins are easier to
learn\implement then SQL Server.

Getting help in a non-Microsoft product has been MUCH
more difficult then getting help for SQL Server, VFP,
VB, etc. I don't know why, but the MS community seems to
give advice much more freely then non-MS software.

Also, MS offers MSDN which is about the price of Oracle alone.
Also, I recently read that Oracle costs 3.7 times more to
implement then SQL Server.

But programmically from a client-server point of view,
Oracle and MS SQL Server seem to be about the same.
