In my case, I have combobox objects as opposed to strictly having the textbox object. In this case, the code in the AfterRowColChange event effectively disables the combobox. However, if I move my cursor from a row which is editable to a row that is not editable the cursor jumps outside the grid to the next object in the tab order (I never tried to fix this), otherwise it stays on the selected row.

I tend to wonder if my solution works because I use combobox objects in addition to the default textbox. I actually never tried it simply using the default textbox object, I just imagined it would work.

Let me know how things go if you ever try it out.
