Have you looked at the solutions samples that come with VFP? There's a sample there that shows how to use the controls. If you're still having problems I'd be happy to help with any specific questions. Where are you running into problems? Is MAPI set up right on your computer? The easiest way to tell is to try to send a message from Word or Excel.
