To specifically answer the question, yes you need the Client for NT unless your Systems staff can figure out a way for NT to grant you and the users access rights to a Novell server [not likely, and no offense intended because -- ] For this to happen the NT user ID and password would have to be the same on the Novell-side, and NT would have to pass this along to Novell. If you are using v4.x of Novell, you have a context to set as well.
