I tried your code, and again no luck. However, this made me suspect my resize code. Sure enough, the resize code was making the container too big whenever the user resized the form. So, problem solved.

My next step is to allow drag and drop with the treeview i.e. drag a node child to another node and copy that child (and its children) to the node, updating the underlying tables as it does so. I'm sure that's not going to be so easy ;-)
