Having the same problem unzipping monthly detail files in a program I use to convert data from DOS to Visual FOX.
It seems that as I unzip these files (running DOS pkunzip) from within Visul program, My program gradually slows until it freezes. I suspect that running the DOS pkunzip is somehow choking up memory.
Anyone know of a good Windows, FOX compatable unzip utility I can use ?
