I am trying to search a database field. The field is the last one in my table. I set the index to be on that field and then do an interactive search using a text box to move the view of a grid to the closest value comparable to my entry.
It doesnt' work. I have 5 other field that i done the same thing for and they all work fine. The field is a character field and before is start the search, i SET Near On. When i enter a character into the search box, the view jumps right to the bottom. It acts like there are no records the match the search criteria, but I know that this is false.
Any ideas.
