When I was in high school (god, was that almost 20 years ago...) and almost started smoking, what stopped me was a "hot" girl telling me "Kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray." Worked like a charm.

Saw a billboard with that slogan on it today, and a pair of big red-lipsticked lips full of crushed butts and ashes, which reminded me.
