I am making a local parameterized view of a child table of the primary table to allow a small pop up form to edit the children (multiple).

After I use the view designer to create the view I close it and can successfully use the view from the small popup form.

However if I need to make a change to the view I receive the "Compiled code for this line is too long" error message. In a clever move it prevents me from opening the veiw at all. I have to create the view from zero everytime I need a change.

While this has burned the procedure for useing the View designer to into my brain, I am becoming a bit tried of it.

What line is too long?

Is there a work around?

View is local, created from a single table. I use SQL Update, update all fields, SQL where includes Key field only. There are 34 fields (I currently need 35).
