But my problem is that I'm trying to use the "run /n" command and it seems that the foundation read takes over after the run command was executed and brings the original application on top and the exe I just ran is in the back ground.

If you're using VFP, take a look at the API_APPRUN class I wrote; it's dependent on several Win32 API calls, so it doesn't port well to FPW 2.6.
