>The view designer is limited. It's not a robust tool. IOW, except for basic views, it chokes. You can either maintain the view in code, or Erik Moore uploaded a utility called eView (I think) that is an enhance view designer. You might want to try that.

eView is a great suggestion, Nancy, but it sounds very likely that the SQL Select code generated for the view may be too big (at least that was the problem I had the last time I ran into this). In my case, I went back and shortened up some field names in a reference table so that FP found the compiled code length more palatable.
