I have this problem:

A perfectly healthy exe, running fine under dos and Novell, doesn't find a directory it needs under NT.

I presume the program's directory-checking routine checks for something it doesn't find under NT.
The big problem is I do not have the source code, and cannot find who wrote it. Threfore I do not now what it looks for.
First I presumed the program looks with the file() function for the existance of the ..\nul file. But this test only works with DOS, not Novell, and therefore this cannot be the test.

So you get my problem: I cannot change the program to an NT-workstation, and the firm wants to migrate...

Doe sanyone have an idea?
