For the FoxTalk article, I'd suggest ordering volume 2 of the FoxTalk CD, which includes the above article; for about $80, you get two years worth of back issues with full source on the CD (Volume II covers January, 1996-June, 1998.) You can order that from Pinnacle's web site, too.
