I have set up my app to do some minor word automation. Basically, I create a word doc, fill in some blanks, save the doc, and add it to a VFP table using the LINK clause of APPEND GENERAL.
All works perfectly on my development machine. However, on site (across country where I can't get to), all but one machine gets errors when attempting to do this. The error leads me to believe that the document is not being created in the first place - and thus not saved. The only thing that is "different" about the one machine that does work, is that VFP (5) has been installed on it. There is another NT machine on which 6.0 has been installed, but it does not work. So ...
Question: Is there something going on as far as some kind of "registration" or simliar when VFP was installed that would make it work with Word on that one machine? If so, what do I need to do to get it to work on all machines? If not, any other ideas?
