Hi Joshua ----

SET FILTER has nothing to do with which columns from a table are displayed. Looks more like you need to weed it down via a SQL call, such as SELECT lastname, firstname FROM customer INTO CURSOR mycursor.

>I have a table that has 2 columns that i need to use, but i want to eliminate all the redundent fields. Is there some way to do this using the set filter command or do i have to traverse the complete table and check each one?
